It is a Nice place to spend the day with kids. lots of rides and several exotic animals. However, I was disappointed with the limited space provided for the animals. Entry price is a bit steep, but it also includes access to the pool (3 pools of different sizes with warm water) and the amusement (free rides). It's a nice place, they have quite a few exotic animals. There's also a petting zoo with alpaca and goats. Nice place for - we went on the first day of opening in May and hence probably everything was not in order yet. Must be pretty much good visit in June, July period. Could see a lot of - we were a bit sad could not see the tiger as well as the water pool that was closed. Few good places to eat - felt on the expensive side. Overall a good place to visit with kids. Parken Zoo is a great spot for a family outing! There’s a nice mix of to see, and the enclosures are well taken care of. The especially loved the amusement area with all the rides and fun activities. The reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that some parts of the could use a bit of a refresh, and it can get a bit crowded at times. But overall, it’s a really fun place and worth a visit! Great zoo! Worth every penny. They have a petting-zoo, a pool-area and a funfair too. Great park. Only thing that was a total let-down was the "restaurant" Morris. The burgers were basically ineatible, expensive and we had to wait for almost an hour to get the food from when we ordered. Bring your own picnic! Do NOT eat there! That was really great, very nice route that covers all of the animals. Some very active, others not so much. But they're animals, they do what they do. All the employees were very friendly and helpful. So for them a very, very big compliment. Keep up the good work boy's and girl's, without you the wouldn't be as nice. The restaurants were catastrophic with close to 2h waiting for the food and unfriendly staff. The amusement attractions were ok for younger kids. The zoo was nice (albeit contradictory feelings about zoos), with clear information about the animal and friendly staff. In general a feeling of a which has seen better days. We forgot but there's a supermarket and a food market next to the camp site. Have been multiple years in a row with and they've loved it every time. 1 star for service is even a lot. It's way too expensive for what you get. The Zoo is ok, but not a day filling program. And don't expect to get anything to eat after 14.00u because everything is closed bij then. I'm definitely not going here for a second time.
