You have a parking space right before the Krupa source and then it is a 5 min walk down the forest. After that ypu can continue hiking by the trail along the Krupa. Bring hiking sticks! We went right after rain and at some point is was very slippery and steep so we couldn't continue the trail until the end. Parking is free as well as everything else and the nature is breathtaking. Near this is also Dvor with Krka cascades and Zuzemberk castle so I suggest that as a roadtrip route :) Such a nice and peaceful place. I would live here😍 Visiting the source of the river Krupa was one of the highlights of my road trip through Bela Krajina. I highly recommend anyone to visit this wonderful spot. It's easy to find and suitable for families with children. If you feel up to the challenge and want to enjoy nature a bit, you can follow the trail down the river and the top of the small canyon. You will even come across a small cave that used to provide shelter to our prehistoric ancestors. Anyhow, if you do decide to go on that hike, I advice you to wear proper walking shoes, bring water and some snacks. Wonderful spring of a river. A really nice walk there, you can go for a small or big round. We did it with bad weather ☁️ but even than it was nice.. Čudovita pokrajina. Čeprav je reka Krupa kratka (2,5 km), je vedno oditi do izvira in ob njej do izliva. Narava res očara obiskovalca. Izvir je sploh krasen. Nice place to visit for a wonderful scenery. One of the most beautiful rivers in Slovenia with a pure nature around and clear water. When you visit the source of the river you should also go for a walk along the river. Definitely worth a visit. Very beautiful. There is a hiking trail we didn't go to, toilet in the parking lot.
