This year however, one meal made me violently ill, and 2 days later I excused myself for eating at all after a large fat fly was discovered under the cheese on my pasta dish. Having worked in food service, I I understand fully, and the flies were particularly big and prevalent all over the area this year. The waiter made no effort to apologize and simply took the plate away after I pointed out the issue.
