This was the highlight of our trip in Zaragoza. The guides were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They took great photos of us while kayaking, and the views of the and bridges from the water are unbeatable. This is a great active part of a trip, otherwise filled with eating ham and drinking wine. But there’s still enough time for tapas after kayaking! We would recommend this to anyone stopping in Zaragoza between Madrid and Barcelona. What a great day! Our family loved our morning on the water, with these excellent, informed, and eloquent guides. They were as willing and excited to practice their English as they were patient with my Spanish. They were funny, kind, and helped us feel included despite us being the only English speaking members of the group. They recommended a wonderful cafe, Le Pastis, for us to wait while our driver was shuttled back to our car, and our lunch there was the icing on the cake after a wonderful tour. This confirmed we made the right choice to visit Zaragoza, a that gives you more of a slice of life in Spain than a tourist’s view. The owner of this company is a geologist first, guide second. The business has helped him spread the word of the improved health of the Ebro River, that it is a safe place for swimming and recreation, and bringing attention to the importance of caring for the and the methods they use to monitor its health through each trip. There were several kids and people of all ages in our group. Lots of people enjoyed a swim in the river, and I really appreciated the watermelon and peanuts snack they provided during a beach break. I do wish we’d brought more water and sunscreen for a touch up. The boats can hold these easily and securely, and their waterproof containers can also keep your snacks dry if you want to bring your own. This is the only thing I wish I’d known in advance, though their communication ahead of time was outstanding in all other regards. Our was on an unusually cool day in June (started at 63F, ended around 82F, and by the end it still felt super hot! So a wide-brimmed hat definitely makes it more tolerable in the sun, especially for Zaragoza’s hotter days. I highly recommend this for locals and tourists! This is wonderful! Everything is well organized, simple, safe and most importantly, fun!! The guides are extremely friendly and knowledgeable about not only the river, but also much of wildlife within. All the equipment was in great condition and comfortable to use. Our lasted about 3 hours and we stopped to have a snack and play a game in the middle. The pick up point can be a little hard to find but is accessible by taxi very easily as long as the driver knows where to go. It can be both very windy and very sunny as well so be prepared for the weather for the day you book. I cannot recommend this enough for those looking to enjoy the outdoors and see the of Zaragoza from a different perspective! Great way to see a different side of Zaragoza. Just outside of the you feel you are really in a natural area. Then bridges and buildings become visible as the sun goes down. Magical beauty. The guides explained what is being done and what was done to improve the nature and beat pollution. It was great. It would have been even better if we spoke Spanish. The guides were very relaxed. They lightened up the mood from the start of the tour. After a crash course, we quickly boarded the kayaks and went into the river. I can recommend bringing clothes to change into; although the is not flowing rapidly, inexperience can lead to falling in :D. We played a little game during a break at the riverbank and had some nuts and fresh fruit. You can reach the starting point easily by taxi, and the endpoint is 2 km from the center. Definitely a fun experience🙌 An amazing experience! A lovely way to see the from the and learn about it along the way. Our family loved every minute! We went with a big group and it was the highlight of our stay in Zaragoza! Néstor and his team gave us instructions on how to kayak in a fun way and the was very easy for beginners (like me). If you want to discover Zaragoza then I highly recommend you to book a kayak 😊 We had an amazing on the Ebro river! The guide was incredibly friendly and shared fascinating insights about the area, making the experience even more enriching. The scenery was beautiful, and we all had so much fun. Highly recommended!
