A great and informative museum, that is worth a visit if you are in the area. We have entered the from the back, and we wasn't sure where we had to go, but then we were in the court yard, by a lady. After we have paid our entry fee, we have been left alone ti explore the 3 downstairs rooms, which it remind me so much of my grandmother's in the village. In the first room it was all about the making of and it's history. The second room it was about how they lived in the villages years ago, and the third room it was all about the agricultural side of life, with equipment from years ago. After we have finished from the downstairs section we have been taken to the upstairs part of the which it was the embroidery museum. It had a lot of personal items on display and it was very informative. The old Legkaritika lace it was everywhere to he seen. I totally recommend the place as you learn a lot from it. Had a lovely tour from the owner, who told us the amazing history and stories about her family and the town. About bees and beekeeping, the embroidery and lace they make in this town and region and the ways they used to work the land way back in time. Such a charming small town and museum, where you can also buy lots of products e.g. and soap.
