Our desire for a refreshing trip out of Szczecin led us to this lovely town Lubczyna about 45 minutes away by car. This very human sized was offering absolutely everything you’d ever expect without the drama, cues, noise etc. Spontaneously we hired a couple of canoes 🛶, had a lovely moment on the water before indulging in a refreshing drink at the bar. In the straight line it's not that far from city center but you have to go to the other side of Dąbskie lake which adds few kilometres to the trip. But in my opinion it's worth it. It's not so crowded as other beaches in vicinity of Szczecin, which you can from there by the way. There is a water slide (sadly not open through whole day), playground for children and of course quite spacious beach.
