We watched a soccer match on the big screen. We're be back for lunch next time. Peaceful place, can chill here if you have time or work here. Theres billiards, television showing tournaments, darts, toilets, bars. Family friendly too As a visitor who loves history, having the opportunity to visit these vibrant halls is a special treat. Thankful to all who had any impact on the decions development or preservation of these walls. Embracing history and adapting to change is what is on full display here. The in door space is vast and airy with lot s of natural light, taking full advantage of the Mediterranean Sun. It's location in Liberté Square add's a fantastic addition to the outdoor and indoor markets adjacent. and cheap trains' connections with other cities (cannes train 7 euros, Montecarlo 5.90, one way)easy to book on line on The Train Line app. I also suggest to stop by at Paul's just in front of the station for a coffee and a tasty sandwich. If you pick the right night, this place is wonderful. Tonight it was a hive of activity. Lots of happy diners, wonderful live music and delicious burgers. Highly recommend - especially if also seeing a movie at the cinema next door. 🥰 Such an interesting place. Visited this place during the night and somehow discovered that there was a big Brazilian party happening. So random, but absolutely loved it! The place is quiet central and easily accessible. We were there for the fete de la musique. The DJ was playing old school R&b and hip hop music. cocktails, food… It was nice Nicely restored but food hall not appealing at all Very hang out spot with food and fun activities. All the food is quickly prepared and very delicious with relatively prices - pretty diverse as well. There are screens in the centre of the station where they screen whatever popular matches/races/games are live. The upstairs area has a lot of seating and games you can rent/play by the hour (or less) - such as billiards, darts, foosball, etc. Highly recommend. La Gare du Sud in Nice is a fantastic spot for food, fun, and a great atmosphere! The beautifully restored train station is now a lively food hall with an amazing variety of international cuisine, making it perfect for a casual meal or drinks with friends. Beyond the food, there’s plenty of entertainment, including darts, pool, and other games, adding to the vibrant social vibe. Whether you’re here to eat, play, or just soak in the ambiance, it’s a must-visit in Nice. Highly recommended! This place is great. Tram station is just in front of it. You can easily reach from city by tram. There are a lots of seating area and also drinking & food outlets inside it. Also there is playing area too. Live music is there. There is big screen to watch live football match. Food taste is too. Beautiful setting and design, the food is and there's a decent selection depending on the day. The place still seems to be a little new and finding it's place. On the first time there, the portion sizes of food seemed small for the price, but improved the second time. The ticket system can be slow since orders aren't automatically sent to the kitchens. Staff are friendly, and the self service machines works well enough (Card and Contactless only). Overall a nice place to share food and drinks with friends. Très bon endroit détente et plaisir . Concept sympa pour se retrouver en groupe, il y a de la place. A food court with beautiful decorations. food and drinks, excellent atmosphere. Everyone can find something they like! The ordering system is pretty useless in all honesty. The machine gives you the option to change language to English but the food descriptions are all still in French. You pay then it prints different receipts for you to then go and pick up a buzzer from each stand and then you go and collect the food from them anyway so not sure what the point of the kiosk is other than to have none of the workers handle money and ordering? The food was so poor, we ordered the Socca which was bland other than the over powering taste of black pepper. Then the lamb souvlaki which was so greasy that the oil was spilling off the wooden board it was served on. Finally the beef noodles which was so tasteless and chewy. It's a shame because the place is so beautiful and quirky. Unexpectedly and affordable meals! We had a delicious lunch, with very attentive service. Love this place. Lots of options to choose from either for entertainment or food. Cozy atmosphere with a beautiful decoration to sit in and enjoy. Also a option to work in for those who want a space with a long opening hours and no limits on sitting time. Very nice community feel. Great use of the train station. Latin dancing lessons were taking place when we were there which was lovely! Not all kiosks were open but we liked the steak we had from the Mediterranean place - portions and flavor.
