We stayed in town for a couple of nights. Strolling around the beach promenade and the Marina were always a thing we did before/after dinner. When it gets dark the Marina looks especially good. With all the lights and reflections on the water. The huge and impressive apartement complex is just dominating here. Some like it, and some might hate it. Think what you like, but it is definitely an impressive sight and for me - especially at night - a wonderful view with the countless lights. Besides all the boats and impressive yachts in the harbour there are loads of dining options. For all kinds of budgets. On some nights there is even a night market on the street. A really nice place to be. Lively, but not overcrowded. We liked it. Marina Baie des Anges, located in Villeneuve-Loubet, France, is a picturesque marina that offers a blend of beautiful surroundings and modern amenities. Nestled between the Mediterranean Sea and the stunning hills of the French Riviera, it is a popular destination for boaters, sailors, and visitors seeking leisure activities. The marina features berths for a variety of vessels, from small yachts to larger boats, along with facilities to accommodate the needs of boat owners. In addition to mooring services, Marina Baie des Anges offers amenities such as restaurants, shops, and recreational areas, making it a vibrant hub for both maritime and land-based activities. Visitors to the marina can enjoy pleasant walks along the waterfront, dine at seaside cafes, and take part in water sports or boat excursions. The nearby beaches and scenic views make it an ideal spot for relaxation and enjoying the natural beauty of the French Riviera. If you need more information about the marina or its activities, feel free to ask! First, I have to say the ladies in the marina office are so charming and extremely helpful. Our catamaran is on the break water wall and it is quiet in the paid parking near the end. There are few people walking by, so it is private. Great to come and enjoy the restaurant scene. Nice beach. Allot of parking It's a really beautiful harbour. Ideal for evening walks.. Great place for our catamaran, very quiet on the break water wall. Not much foot traffic, so private. The many, restaurants, shops, market and the beach make it perfect. Despite heavy construction in the Marina (hopefully next season will be more relaxed) I definitely enjoy the vibe of Marina Baie des Anges. Over the years I have been to many ports. I have never found one worse than this. I will leave aside the rudeness of the secretary who giggled at my simple requests. The management of the berth reservation was terrible. They were never able to help me. I will tell you about my experience. I was in the port, waiting for my boat to arrive (expected arrival at 9:00 pm). Objective: to pick up the people who were on board and leave the boat in the for 5 days as we had commitments, starting the next day (the berth had been correctly booked by phone). I will list the worst things that happened. 1. It was not possible to register in person because I did not have the insurance document, as the document was on the boat that was sailing and the phone did not work. I assured them that I would send the document as soon as possible via email (which I did in fact an hour later), but I was not given the opportunity to pay and find out the berth number. The office closed at 5:00 PM, forcing me to come the next day (which I couldn't do due to personal commitments). We therefore handled everything with the operators upon arrival (thank you). 2. The photocopies of the documents were not good. The secretary wanted to photocopy the original documents personally (an absurd request, never happened in so many years of sailing) and therefore we had to give up our personal commitments to bring them to her. 3. We asked to extend our stay in by a few days to be able to return to our personal commitments. I emphasize that it was low season (early June) and the had a lot of space. We were denied. 4. At that point we had to bring forward our departure. They also made us pay for the following days, in which we did not stay overnight. The amount was very high. Nothing else added. Rudeness, stubbornness, lack of mental flexibility and the inability to help customers are the characteristics of this port. Just a piece of advice. If you want a berth on the French Riviera, don't choose this port!
