Just visited to watch the 2022 Italian f1 gp on the huge screen in the bar. but missed Martin's commentary. Wrong result but worth watching! Our experience with the staff was incredibly disappointing. We unintentionally passed through an "employee only" door, and while there were no visible signs indicating it was restricted, the response we received was far from professional. Rather than politely informing us of the mistake, the employee yelled at us. It was only later that we realized what the issue had been. If you're looking for service, this isn't the place. The communication was rude, and it's clear customer care isn't their priority. I'd recommend taking your business elsewhere where you’ll be treated with respect and clarity. Better experience than Monte Carlo 👍 So, the Barrière Menton? The place looks amazing, sitting right by the sea, and there's loads to do inside, from gaming to all the different activities. But honestly, our welcome was pretty rough. The front desk staff was super unfriendly, and then she hit us with this bizarre reason for not getting a loyalty card: 'because you're not from Europe.' Seriously? We're Canadian, and that just sounded totally off. Things picked up once we were past the entrance, but that whole unfriendly, weirdly discriminatory bit at the start definitely left a sour taste. Hope they fix that for other visitors from outside Europe!" Excellent restaurant. ❤ We went a few times and tried differemnt dishes. There were all very good, fresh made with nice products, for a reasonable price in a lovely and relax atmosphere. Also many thanks to the very nice staff😁 Terrible experience. I love it Never before experienced so intense begging from the dealers at the roulette table, absolutely disgusting.. One of the male dealers paid out my win on roulette, while pushing the chips to me, he held his hands over the chips for like 10seconds without saying anything??
