We spent a relaxing afternoon at Plage des Galets in Cagnes-sur-Mer at the end of May. The was surprisingly quiet, with just a handful of people soaking up the sun on the pebbles. Unlike most beaches here, Plage des Galets has no sand, which was a bit unexpected! The strong sun made it feel much warmer than the actual temperature, which was around 17°C. Luckily, there are free public restrooms and a fountain along the promenade, which were lifesavers! Overall, a great spot for a peaceful afternoon by the water. The waterfront is a nice walk. The is not sand but pebbles so you need to wear shoes. Bit of a pebbly beach, but nice and the was lovely. Lots to do once your off the Clean quiet stoney beach. Good to have peace of mind.
