This is huge for so many yachts and sail boats. It’s so busy that is super hard to find parking. There is weekend live music and vendors. It’s nice way to enter the city! vauban is a Very calm place next to the centre. That is so calm so you can sleep on the street. and vauban has two beaches next to it. One is sand the other one is rocks. A nice walk in the entirely renovated old Antibes, also convenient after a few days at sea or when your yacht needs standard maintenance. It's also where you can rent excellent for a day or a half day at reasonable prices. Lovely place they had a great market going on but we were there to see the sites. On a whistle stop tour. As you would expect from the oldest yacht only harbour in the Mediterranean there's plenty of little pubs and restaurants too. Plus the Picasso museum seemed to be popular. The is a glorious showroom of play toys to the rich and famous. It's lovely to look around and see all the luxury on display. The water was quite polluted with debris and aome kind of oil in places. But on one side of the the water was that azure blue that the area is famous for and we saw some incredible jellyfish right near the surface of the water. If you are into luxury watercraft and jellyfish, it's well worth a look. Okay, here's a summary in the style of a positive Google review for Vauban, Antibes: Title: Must-See Mix of Glamour & History! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Opinion: Absolutely worth visiting! Vauban is stunning. You get to see some truly incredible superyachts (especially on Billionaire's Quay – wow!). It's right next to the charming Old Town and below the historic Fort Carré, so the views are fantastic. Great atmosphere for a walk, mixing that high-end Riviera feel with beautiful historic scenery. Definitely put it on your list if you're in Antibes! It's a unique and impressive place. Très agréable pour une petite balade en famille Vauban of Antibes is a great place to walk around. The yachts, the calmness, and having the castle in the background just makes it even better. Proper scenic spot. Staff here are very friendly and pleasant. But the negative part is that such a huge Marina there are only 2 toilet buildings and each toilet building has only 2 shower rooms and 2 toilets (male and female, very close inside) . Both Toilets/Shower rooms are located very far end of the Marina (end of dock D07 or Marina office) , extremely far to walk to. Should have another toilet/shower built near the Dock C area, as it's not enough toilets for the occupancy to use. In the toilet, if someone is having a shower, the person in the toilet next to it will be wet as the divider is not all the way to the floor to block off the shower water. The floor is always wet. The key pad code to enter the toilets is not functioning properly, which has to key in many times before the door can be opened. Very inconvenient. Although it has a gate to the ramp, the boat right next to the entrance is not guarded or secured as anyone can jump on the boat from the car park. Beautiful marina and great place to walk around to see the yachts. Antibes is a must to see town. The flair and atmosphere is fantastic. People is friendly and make you fell welcome. Definitely a place I would visit again My favorite on the french riviera due to its sheer size and proximity to the train and restaurants, its a perfect place to begin a journey on a yacht since it is really central and the is super clean. Piękna przystań Fabulous service, great food, stunning views. Left our bags and valuables with the staff so we could go jump in the lake to cool off. Very safe. Owner used to run other good restaurants in the area so very trusted and wish them all the best with this one. Nice marina near the old city. Huge to small boats. Water are dirty. A beautiful yacht harbor adorns Antibes on the Cote d'Azur. Antibes is a very sympa old French village near Nice and Vauban is its marina. You can find lots of very nice caffé shops and restaurants. The is awesome. The very crowded, huge (a bit too much). No lateral berths. Only Mediterranean. Renovation undergoing in Jan 2024. Worth visiting. Depending on boat's draft you might get a close to old berth. We stayed here overnight with no reservation and they welcomed us with open arms, super friendly and a prime berth, not sure if it is because they knew our company or just being friendly but honestly highly recommend mooring here as we took a quick 20 minute drive to cannes and enjoyed the nightlife there One of the best marinas in France. Good internet from the port, option to rent an electric bike free from if you r with yacht, nice city, museums, beaches just under the old town, nice pubs and food. Great local market every morning with all kind of fresh food. Very close to Nica and Cannes.Just loving it.
