Parking is non existent, which is the only downside of the park and it's a really long walk from a decent parking spot. The monument is built in honor and remembrance of that day. Very lovely small square with information and monuments. There are a few parking spaces next to the square, there are just no signs, but you can drive down and you need to get to that side of the road first through the roundabout.
