Very nice atmosphere with tables by the sea with good music. The dishes were ok and the prices were normal. Didn't like the disposable plates to which the dishes were served, the small variety in beers and also the hard chairs for sitting. The could also get much better. Watch the sun go down while you sink into a fresh juice drink!... There are several things that make a bar by the sea: First the sea. On this Mare Mare is unrivaled. There are tables that are practically within five steps from where the waves break. The setting has been nicely decorated and on a hot summer night it feels brilliant. Second, the service. You do want to feel that everything is as magical and special as the setting and sea and here, unfortunately Mare Mare fails to deliver. Water, comes in plastic disposable cups (and it's not cold). The waiters are not trained and although they do try hard, their best is not sufficient substitute for a system to working the tables that allows the patrons to get their in without having to wait for more than forty thirty minutes (for a couple of drinks) and an additional twenty (for ice-cream ordered at the same as the drinks, which came half melted). Consider the fact that you do spend money there and the prices are not cheap, the level for is deplorable. If you really want to enjoy the sound of the waves and the simmering play of moonlight on the surface of the sea grab a rag and a portable cooler and spend some on the beach, just five meters away. It's free and you get to supply your own drinks, but then again you won't get frustrated by an order that will come in parts, late and be disappointing. BarRaca and Maremare is The place to be in the urban seaside of the city. George is one of the most cult professional, a man full of experience and attitude. Try the Zombie cocktail in order to start your night the best way. Enjoy and travel by mind with the great music. Πολύ όμορφο μέρος μέσα στον ιστό της πόλης, δίπλα στη θάλασσα, με πολύ ωραία μουσική σε τέτοιο επίπεδο όμως που επητρέπει άνετα την συζήτηση. Όμορφη, απλή διακόσμηση που παραπέμπει σε άλλες εποχές, καθαρά ποτά και πολύ λαή εξυπηρέτηση από το ευγενέστατο προσωπικό. Μεγάλο μειονέκτημα του χώρου η τουαλέττα που ενώ είναι πεντακαθαρή είναι εξαιρετικά μικρή και σε άβολη θέση (εκτός του χώρου του μαγαζιού) Πολύ ωραία ατμόσφαιρα για το ηλιοβασίλεμα και το βράδυ χαλαρά για κοκτέιλς Good choice for a quick swim near the city center, less crowded than the nearby municipal beach. Also, wonderful sunsets .... Εξαιρετικός χώρος δίπλα απο την θάλασσα με ατμοσφαιρική διακόσμηση που παραπέμπει σε νησί, εύκολα προσβάσιμο από το κέντρο της πόλης. Εξαιρετικό σημείο για να απολαύσετε το Πατρινό ηλιοβασίλεμα πίνοντας ένα ωραίο κοκτέιλ. This place is more a beach bar for not a restaurant for food. George, the owner, is the man. The staff and the sunset here can't be beat. Mostly locals, so if you are American and want to meet friendly Greeks, this is a great place. Stayed here and enjoyed some until our ferry left. Chair pilows were damped. All tables had candle lights except ours which was brought by the end of our dinner. When we for our bill we didn't get a tax receipt, and once we for it then the waitor got it... after some time. The whole experience of having dinner at this venue was disappointing to us. Beautiful place, next to the water. The first thing the waiter if you are going to pay cash or by card, although the bill doesn't come until the end. Customer is not good. The staff are very serious and seem to be very new waiters with lack of training. My second drink took a long to arrive. When it did, part of other and the nuts that the waiter was carrying, fall on my table.The waiter saved sorry. I how he was, he said he was not good, so I didn't want to incomodate him. A waitress came, cleaned part of the liquid on the table, and took my fresh glass away. I had to use the one from the first drink. Unfortunately noone me how I was. Even after they saw me cleaning my phone that was wet. Location location location! This place is breathtaking. Perfect view of the sunset. The was impeccable. Enjoyed our dinner and I would highly recommend mare mare. The night we were there there was a guest Dj who played the best tunes. Overall a lovely night. Ωραίο μέρος, ωραία ατμόσφαιρα αλλά τρία κοκτέιλς( κι ένα μιλκσεικ) να συνοδεύονται από ξηρούς καρπούς σε δοχείο μεγέθους σφηνάκι;;; Θα σημάνει κάποια οικονομική καταστροφή για το μαγαζί, φαντάζομαι, αν προσφέρει λίγους ξηρούς καρπούς παραπάνω.
