Until repair work is performed (no sign at the moment), the marina is essentially closed to visiting boats. A basin in the commercial port is the available alternative in patra. This harbour is near the town centre and has services (water and electricity) but not adequate in certain circumstances when waves rebound off the walls. A sad situation for pleasure vessel tourism and related professionals (mechanics, hardware suppliers etc.). Update 2022: This post remains still true. In fact the port is in an even worse condition after a big storm in November '21. Luckily, the unrelated closure of the Korinth canal has substantially reduced the boat traffic.
