I visited the Farm shop and restaurant yesterday for the first time in years A really marvellous restaurant with a great menu. Cakes and traybakes are first class. Its not cheap but well worth it for the quality on offer in all aspects. There is a lovely terrace, perfect for good weather days overlooking a beautiful, working Dolphin sculpture Fountain. I ordered the baked potatoes with tuna and house slaw, accompanied by a latte, and found it to be absolutely delicious. My wife had the brie, bacon, and apple panini, which she also loved. For dessert, we shared a pistachio cannoli and a paradise slice, both of which were delightful. The service was prompt and attentive. Additionally, we explored the garden center, where we purchased some plants and treats from the village shop. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and we look forward to returning. Nice little farm shop, but garden centre smallish and didn’t manage to get anything. Cafe food looked nice but tables just outside overflowing with dishes, and there was a wait time as busy - so didn’t bother. Great day out for the family plenty to do. Play parks outdoors & the animals, then a soft play indoors. Donkeys & goats are absolutely beautiful, and you can hand feed and give them a little pat on the head. Would definitely recommend it. We went pumpkin picking so much to see and do. Kids loved it . Done the tractor ride seen the Estate & animals. After collecting pumpkins from Woods, kids went to the place to carve them. Lots of activities outdoors and soft play indoors was great. Went for breakfast in farm cafe, good tasty ingredients at a price, good to see you can now take your dogs Lovely farm shop and garden centre. There was no room so the lovely girl gave us a table outside the cafe. She was really helpful, friendly and attentive. Food was great. It's a lovely location and has a big children's play park too. Would definitely return if we were up that way. Family atmosphere, polite and friendly staff. Great variety of farm products and delicious coffee. I recommend it. Had a nice drive out decided to grab a bit to eat. Had afternoon tea which was lovely and very reasonably priced. Highland coos, Belted Galloways, alpacas Kevin and Duncan, sheep, goats and Meg the border collie.... What's not to like. What the family have created here is magical and a must visit.
