Gym has recently been renovated and it's now state of the art. It's tremendous. Sauna/steam room are outdated and could do with some TLC but otherwise works well and does the job. Has cold and hot showers too. Pool is good and sometimes has public sessions available. Good location as right next to Wishaw Train Station. Football pitches are in poor condition and require to be relaid. Tried to attend the Too Good to Throw market but there was absolutely no available parking and people were parking on pavements, double yellow lines and anywhere they could abandon their car! As my sister are both disabled we will not be back! The gym is fine, lessons for kids are great. however they take forever to get things fixed and the toilets are terrible. The coffee shop also sells an inordinate amount of unhealthy items for a fitness center. Visited the sports complex for a junior badminton tournament but the heating in the hall was broken. It was -4°C out side and about the same inside. Very poor. In need of modernisation in corridors and toilets. are always helpful and cheery. Toilets can leave a lot to be desired. Cafe can be disastrous in cleanliness, at times, sometimes not enough on duty and especially in the cafe at weekends. Not a bad range of sandwiches, soups, etc. Pool nice and clean and pool are always available to help especially Andy, Brendan, George, Fraser. Great sports centre. So clean and tidy. Food is lovely. No issues Wishy sports centre has everything. Indoor football, badminton, tennis, table tennis, basketball and flying...OK so I made the last one up! Shoot me! The centre is modern and clean and everything is signposted for your ease. The centre has a pool and a state-of-the-art gym. The centre also holds a smorgasbord of fitness classes held in the various suites. There are excellent changing and shower facilities as well as an in-house cafe. The are brilliant and helpful and you'll have the best experience in fitness that Wishy has to offer. I have been a member for a few years. Everything about this gym is good. The instructors are great. However, I have recently had the privilege of meeting Cole. He is brilliant. I have spent 2 sessions with him and he has absolutely re-ignited my passion. Cannot thank him enough. Highly recommend him. This is a disgrace of a gym! Sworn at by a bully so called personal trainer! Only been a member for 2 weeks but membership is getting cancelled and I am contacting my MP! The are useless and border on rude but are very good at going quiet when you raise a concern, what a waste of tax payers money! I'd privatise the place and get rid of the dead wood. It's not a pleasant place to visit unfortunately. I initially joined this gym without any issues, and the gym and pool were decent. However, my experience took a turn when I moved away and informed them I needed to cancel my membership, as there was no gym in my new location. Upon my return, I paid the joining fee and rejoined earlier this year, only to later receive an email stating I owed £90 and that my access would be suspended until the balance was cleared. What I find particularly frustrating is that they took my payment for the month and the joining fee before informing me about the outstanding balance. To me, this feels like poor practice and, frankly, a scam. It’s very disappointing, and I believe this situation should have been handled more transparently. Worst ! I was doing back strokes in the pool, a guard in red t shirt comes to me and says "you are not allowed to cross the non swimmers line". He insisted that I din't know while I was comfortably doing back strokes and floating on water on my back! I had to prove him by doing a normal swim and still he didn't allow me to go in deep water. I had to talk to his supervisor who allowed me to get in. Such a terrible !!!! Horrible experience. My son joined the ultimate membership. He loves all the lesson here, tennis and badminton. He loves the coaches and told me he learned a lot from them. To be honest, it’s quite busy here. Fortunately, there is always enough parking space. Went for a swim. Not happy at all. Took my money, went to the pool to find it dived into 3. Family area(fair enough). Then the 2 lanes were shorted horizontally with a rope for another small square. As i went there to swim i found it ridiculous i couldnt swim wall to wall in the lanes. Have to stop after 2 shorts lengths and Kick from open water is stupid. They could of atleast informed me before taking money Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
