A first day in Scotland for us! From Glasgow, we stopped by the little village of Luss, a viewpoint by Loch Lomond, then a couple of spots for snack/lunch, and finally Stirling Castle (I going in - need to purchase the entry ticket as it’s not included in price). There was ample to explore. It was a rainy day, but our and very good driver Marc kept us entertained with Scottish songs and facts - a mix of history, culture and nature. He said he’s new to the job at Discover Scotland tours, but is a pro and ensured a comfortable enjoyable for everyone! I went on a one-day Loch Ness and Highlands tour, and let me just say—it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Our guide, Tony, was absolutely fantastic. He was friendly, welcoming, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the entire trip. What I really appreciated was that Tony went above and beyond—stopping at beautiful spots that weren’t even on the itinerary so we could take photos and enjoy the journey without it feeling long or tiring. He was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating stories and insights about Scotland, its people, and its culture—all while keeping things lighthearted and funny. He even offered to take photos of us, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The vehicle itself was very well-maintained and comfortable, making it perfect for a long day trip. Honestly, I would 100% this to anyone visiting Scotland. You’re guaranteed to have a memorable experience, and I know for sure I’ll be coming back for more tours in the future. We had an amazing day exploring the Highlands with my wife and daughter. The landscapes were absolutely stunning, and our guide, Finn, made the even more special. He was kind, cheerful, and always in a good mood — you can tell he truly loves his country and enjoys sharing its stories. Finn filled the journey with fascinating anecdotes and a playlist of Scottish artists that perfectly matched the atmosphere. English isn’t our first language, but he spoke clearly and even his jokes were easy to follow — we really appreciated that! We would have loved to make the last even longer. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and always ready to help, which made the entire smooth and enjoyable. Watching the Jacobite steam train pass over the Glenfinnan Viaduct had always been a dream of mine, and thanks to Kieran's planning and timing, we got the perfect view — it was truly magical. The journey through the Highlands was peaceful and scenic, with plenty of opportunities to soak in the beauty of the landscape. Kieran shared interesting facts and stories along the way, adding depth to the without overwhelming us with information. The team was incredibly thoughtful — they helped book a lovely accommodation, and the B&B was cozy, clean, and very comfortable. Our leader, Gary, was fantastic. He shared a lot of fascinating stories and historical facts about each place we visited. Even though I’m not a native English speaker, I could understand more than 60% of what he said, thanks to his clear explanations. Gary also has a sense of humour, which made the whole both fun and memorable. Everything felt very well-organised and full of special touches — there was a real sense of ceremony throughout the journey. All the destinations we visited were absolutely stunning. If you love nature and scenic landscapes, this is a must! Gary (The Guide) is such a kind hearted and fun loving person. He made this an absolute success. Right from providing interesting facts and legends about Scotland to giving surprises after stops to planning surprise bdy cake for one of the fellow passenger he outdid himself. The (3 day isle of skye and lochness) in general was designed perfectly for those who want to discover Scotland. For those who want to visit Glenfinnan Viaduct and old man of storr it might be not a good option as there wasn’t much for the hike so we saw it from afar. We had an incredible 3 day with Jamie as our guide. Jamie was not only knowledgeable of Scottish history and the surrounding landscape, but also very entertaining! We visited a number of the famous lochs, and toured extensively on The Isle of Skye. I took the Loch Ness, Haunting Glencoe, & The Highlands with Billy as the driver, it was a trip. Thoroughly enjoyed the sights and all of the history and general information that Billy gave us. I highly this tour. As a first visit to the area it is a way to get a taste of the beauty of Scotland. Now I want to keep exploring. Such a wonderful tour!! Our was Michael, and he was incredibly knowledgeable about everything. Plus he was hilarious and made the whole day so much fun! And what can I say... I'm thrilled, I always felt safe and happy. Both guides are absolutely fantastic, humorous, and provide very helpful and interesting information during the tour. We took a 3 day to the highlands/Isle of Skye with Stuart. Me and my daughter Skye had an amazing time. Stuart was amazing, so kind and fun. If anything, I wish we would have spent more days there. The we had, pictures we took, memories we made were life changing. We loved staying at The Cliff House, grandma Mary and grandaughter Grace were absolutely lovely. Being off season, we had such an awesome exclusive tour. Stuart was so knowledgeable and such a good driver, I felt very safe. I didn’t know what to expect from a as I have never been on one before. But Chris set the bar extremely high for me. We went to multiple places and did the Loch Lomond/Stirling castle and it was such a experience. I would this to anyone. It’s also fairly affordable for anyone who’s on a tight budget. My friend and I both had a fantastic time. We heard about the from a booklet at the Hilton Glasgow. At first, we were shared a different and I tried to book that but the date was not available. I looked at Discover Scotland’s and it highlighted the same places - and there was availability (and it was a few pounds cheaper!). Our and driver, Colin was wonderful. Truly appreciated his narration throughout the trip. He’s got a sense of humor. I was especially touched by the story behind song “Loch Lomond” and it was to visit the loch. Colin was kind enough to make a stop for us to visit the hairy coos (which was my highlight of the trip). We were lucky to have beautiful weather with sunshine for most of the trip. From the very beginning, Chris set the tone with his infectious enthusiasm, deep knowledge, and genuine passion for the destinations. He didn’t just lead us through the sites, he brought each location to life with captivating stories, interesting facts, and personal anecdotes that enriched the entire experience. By the end of the tour, it felt less like a guided and more like an adventure shared with a friend who happens to know everything about the destination! WOW. I have only endless good things to say about our experience. We had Stuart as our driver and and he was an absolute gem of a human. Stuart went well above and beyond to give us a jam packed and fun on our 3 day isle of skye tour. The vans are really nice, you can charge up, have AC, Stuart even played us a custom made Scottish music playlist which added so much. He was incredibly personable, funny, and helped us learn the history of what we were seeing and experiencing throughout. We lucked out with a group of folks, and by the end of 3 days felt like we’d made new friends. Stuart took us to many places that weren’t on the itinerary to maximize our on the Isle and we loved all of it! If you’re on the fence between discover Scotland and other companies, they’re a small local company that treats their guides well, and the money is more than worth it for the experience. Ask for Stu as your guide!! I chose the 3-day Isle of Skye, Highlands, and Loch Ness because it included all the spots I wanted to see while visiting Scotland and it turned out absolutely incredible! Our guide, Gary, was fun, knowledgeable, and incredibly accommodating. He went above and beyond by adding in extra activities, surprise treats, and unplanned stops that weren’t even advertised on the site. Because it was a smaller group, we quickly bonded with the other travelers over the 3 days, which made the even more special. The van was spacious and very comfortable, and the Discover Scotland team was fantastic to deal with from start to finish. When I had a mishap with my overnight accommodation (completely my fault), the team was responsive and genuinely helpful in resolving it. This exceeded my expectations in every way. We recently went to the 4 day Mull organized by ‘Discover Scotland Tours’. The scenery is impressive and it is really peaceful due to its remote location. The visits to the islands of Iona and Ulva provide an excellent opportunity to do some interesting walks in lovely nature. The landscapes and the tranquility are highlights of this amazing tour. Compliments to our guide, Colin, who is an excellent driver with a sense of humour. During our journey, he gives interesting insights into the history and the culture relative to the area. Another positive aspect is that the distances are not too long and so adequate was allocated to enjoy these lovely sites.
