Lookout built in 2010, with perfect views to Dietikon, Spreitenbach. Nice easy hike to the Superb area for a hike with some beautiful views. Quite an easy walk up and there is a beautiful restaurant at the top. Very easy for kids. A little hard to bike up and down the mountain, but stunning view and nice place to spend some time with restaurant and seats around. Nice place, great panoramic view. It’s a relatively short hike to reach the tower, and the walk through the forest makes for a pleasant experience. The trails are well-marked and suitable for most fitness levels, though some sections can be a bit steep. The Tower: Aussichtsturm Altberg is a wooden structure standing around 30 meters tall. Climbing the spiral staircase to the top is relatively easy and offers great rewards. The construction is sturdy and safe, though the steps can be narrow, so careful footing is required. Really nice viewpoint over the surrounding towns and the Limmat. Unfortunately it was a bit foggy the day I went so the view was not as clear but I will definitely head back in summer! If you're a bit sporty it's around a 3 hour hike round trip from Schlieren and a big part of it is through the forest which is really nice! Very nice hiking and nice viewing, worth to visit.
