For lunch we had a traditional Tiroler Brotzeit, Kaiserschmarrn and a cake of the day, they all looked and tasted great. For dinner we could choose from Spinatknödel and a Nepalese lentil curry - we liked both :) The hut has fantastic views, and it is a perfect spot for watching the sunset. This place is amazing. I can't say enough good things. My husband and I visited at the end of July. The is truly one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. The family who owns it are the nicest people, especially the mom/grandma. I wanted to take her home with us!! The vegetarian lentil soup is the best meal I've had in Austria, and I've had a lot of good meals here. The memory of our visit here will be among my favorites. Great place, the is simply inexplicable. The food tastes great, which is only made better because the walk here is hard and tiring. Narrow paths, if any, with mountain on one side and cliff straight down on the other. Path can sometimes be gone in places because of falling rocks and debris rolling down. But once you get there, the is amazing and the food and drinks taste all the better. If you're looking for a nice hike with warm food and cold drinks in the middle, I do indeed recommend it. We stayed in this hut as part of the Karwendel Höhenweg. Service-wise, this was undoubtedly the most charming hut we stayed in. The hut staff immediately made an effort to learn our names and constantly addressed us by our names. After dinner, it is possible to order Kaiserschmarrn, which is absolutely delicious. Also the is amazing. Make sure to climb the Reitherspitze when at the hut, as this provides an even more spectacular view. It takes about 20 minutes. View, sunset, service and the room were great, but compared to the other hütte we did, the breakfast was disappointing. I don't feel the halfboard was worth the price. The nature here is obviously absolutely stunning, one of the best hikes of my life. The Hut restaurant staff was super friendly and cool :) The location and could not be any more perfect. It is built on a mountain ridge with great views from the patio down onto Seefeld and up to Reitherspitze. The food and service were also good, I especially appreciated them giving us updates on weather and trail conditions. Celebrated my birthday here with a group of friends. Service was fantastic, it was very clean and the was amazing. Really enjoyed the hike up and down as well.
