No others words to describe the experience. It was our first time doing tobogganing. The woman in the ticket counter and the man who gave us the sledges were nice. - I paid 20EUR for 2 sledges and our Innsbruck Welcome Card Plus covered the up/down trips. The first cable car will take you up to Stiglreith. The second cable car takes you up to Sulzstich. We did tobogganing between Sulzstich and Stiglreith (2 km). There is also a restaurant in Stiglreith. It is a decent slope and ski station. Definitely recommend for people with relatively short experience with skiing. Slope alongside Peter Anich II Gondelbahn is relatively flat and easy to practice before going higher. Parking is free of charge and very close to the station. Not very exciting place and small comparing to other stations in area, but worth visiting if you travel with small children. Lovely walk through the mountains then down through the woods back to the gondola We had the time of our lives. I am deeply afraid of heights, but I still did it. If you are in Innsbruck, please go check it out. You will not regret it. We went a little bit too late, but we still enjoyed it. It is the best activity included in the Innsbruck welcome care (3 nights+) so if ever your accomodation provides it for you, make sure to visit this place. I suggest to visit early at least 1PM so you can play with a toboggan downhill, they have toboggan for rent in the station. Beautiful spot and free to get to the top with the Innsbruck Welcome Card.(once) Taboggans can be rented at the base for €10 (apparently) as we only found out when we got to the top. Would have loved to have done it as it looked like so much fun. Next time. Either way we just enjoyed the amazing views at the top of the mountain. We visited on a Monday and it was quiet with no wait times. Free with WelcomeCard Plus. Stay more than 3 nights in Partner hotel to get the card for free. The views are stunning from the top. Very pricy for what it is tho - as a previous reviewer said “interesting pricing…” As an fyi You can only use your discount travel card at the first stop near the town centre. If you don’t want to spend that kind of money you can get lovely views from the top of the funicular railway stop and not get the cable car up to the top. I believe the funicular railway is included in the discount card.
