Lovely hut with in the middle of beautiful views all-around. Friendly staff. They have only very limited food and inside seatings. It's a very clean location. Very limited beds, so a reservation is needed. A small and nice mountain chalet where u can eat a hot soup, drink beer and sleep overnight if u want. They have a nice big white shepherd dog and u can prepare for the Piatra Mare peak ( 1 hour by). Nice views from there Very cosy, intimate place with nice and friendly people! Everything looks very new and pretty inside decorated with old lamps. Is the perfect place to rest before going to Piatra Mare Peak. Chalet caretakers change (during the week there is usually Peter- a great mountaineer with amazing experiences to tell stories about) once in a while. Perfectly clean, everything has its place, you are expected to enter without gear and snow as it should be. Very friendly dog. Excellent location. Overall I highly recommend it. Be careful as during the week no food is offered and be sure to call beforehand. The view is very nice, the donkeys are adorable. Very nice, pretty little chalet. Looks goid an is very clean and tidy. Cannot go inside anymore because of the Covid pandemic, but one can still order hot tea, soup, a snack or something cold to drink on the porch or on the grass enjoying the views. The menu is not very diverse, by it's very good. You can find some beer, hot wine, tea and chocolate. As food is concerned, they have a couple of Romanian dishes, beans with sausages, legume soup and a great meat stew. If you happen to visit Seven Ladders Canyon and you have a couple of hours free you can go all the way to the top, or at least the lodge. It will take you about 3 hours but the view is fantastic and the food at the lodge is pretty awesome too. Cozy place, very friendly owners and pretty good food for a mountain cabin. Building is new and everything is clean. There is a fresh water spring nearby as well. The cabin seems to be able to accommodate up to 15 people overnight in the beds upstairs.
