An highlight Gastronomic in Bistro de l'Arte. Focused on detail for a best taste of each plate. Strongly recommended for a fine quality dining in Brașov historical center. We made a reservation through Amex concierge after being dismissed the night before for not having one. Upon arrival, they couldn’t find our reservation but honored it and seated us at a communal table. The menu isn’t fully in English, so we accidentally ordered chicken liver instead of lamb—but it was tasty! The carbonara was decent, though not authentic. Language barriers caused some mix-ups (non-alcoholic beer instead of regular), but we made it work. Good food, but and communication could improve. Definitely reserve ahead! A memorable dining at Bistro de l'Arte! I had the beef with and zucchini — beautifully cooked and full of flavor. The presentation was elegant, and the portion just right. What truly elevated the evening was the exceptional from our waiter, Andrei. He was attentive, friendly, and had recommendations. The ambiance is cozy and artistic, making it a perfect spot in Brașov's historic center. Highly recommended! Been here a few times, always food and service, but today having the crispy cornflour pancake was another level! Top knotch! A truly dish inspired by traditions but also something different. Love it! And above all, dog friendly! I’d been curious about Bistro de l’Arte for a while, so I finally made a reservation — and you should too, it gets busy. I tried the onion soup, which was quite interesting (in a good way). The escargots were tasty, but definitely more of a snack than a main. Then I had the sausages with eggs — a bit too much sausage, to be honest. The Bloody Mary was solid, no fireworks, but it did its job. Overall? Not mind-blowing, but a enough if you’re in the mood for something a bit different. place to have an lunch! We enjoyed it a lot, the was very nice, the location feels cosy. You can also enjoy your drink outside, if the weather is nice, as it has a really cool and laid back vibe. We had carbonara and the crispy cornflower pancake, some prosecco and a beer. Very good everything! I’d seen quite a few reviews about this place, so we decided to give it a try. Based on the staff’s recommendations, we ordered a tomato soup, pappardelle with beef, and for dessert, crepes with raisins. The beef was excellent — the mushroom sauce paired perfectly with the meat and the type of pasta. The soup (gratinated with gouda) was also really good; the combination worked beautifully. And the crepes were something truly special — highly them! Killer ginger beer! Haha the rest of the food and were really as well. I walked in for a late lunch and the patio was full with reservations but they happily sat me inside. I would reservations for the outdoor seating or even inside during dinner. Highly and would go again! Exceptional food in a cozy atmosphere w/friendly service. Would come back to try the entire menu one visit at a time 🖤 I have only high praise for this place. The beef pasta, the onion soup, the desserts, everything was beyond expectations. Really tasty, very balanced dishes and just the right size. The also was flawless, very friendly, prompt, they even helped us with suggestions (just right for our tastes). I cannot them enough, a must try if you come to Brasov! Still there among the best, the bistro’s consistency in delivering an is lovely to see! Thier food is amazing, is and carefull (thank you Cornel!) and the atmosphere relaxed and cozy.. Really don’t miss it out if you are in the city. Worth it! Six years ago we have stayed at Casa Rozelor, with breakfast at Bistro de l’Arte - a very (possibly I might have reviewed this). This time we were looking for a spot where to get a very tasty local beer (Czell). Since someone told us the Bistro had it, we went there at around three a clock. All the tables were reserved but the waiter was extremely kind and found one which was not taken for the moment, facing the very picturesque passage in front of the bistro. Once again our culinary has been fantastic. We had onion soup, chicken leg slowly cooked in the oven, snails and king oyster mushrooms. Incredible taste and prices! Next time we are decided to reserve for the food (not only for the beer)! Exquisite food! Every time we visit Brașov we eat here. The homemade dishes, often served with local truffles, are to die for! Their traditional yet updated take on classic Romanian recipes is as well! The "ciorba de perișoare" was one of the best I have had. The is quick, overall again and again. The was very busy all the time. It is very hard to find a table for lunch and dinner. The onion soup was but the oyster mushroom was too salty. The are nice. The price is a bit expensive compared to Romanian food in general such a lovely place, absolutely loved the food, the was so nice! had the pepper soup, the eggplant spread, and oyster mushrooms (i asked for the spinach on the side) which were delicious! highly recommend!!! lives up to its reputation, a must-visit in Brasov. I wasn't sure if I should give it 3 or 4, let's say 3.5. The food was good, nothing special but the price is a bit high for what you get. The issue we had was that we waited around 40-50 minutes for the server to bring the bill so we can pay. We asked 3 times, and even asked a different person once. We saw that they were busy but they just completely forgot about us. Probably not coming back. For me, there’s no better food in Brașov. Everything is freshly made with local ingredients, and I’ve never tried a dish I didn’t like. It’s best to make a reservation, as the place is popular. The is always polite and friendly, and the is very clean. I highly it! My sister chose this place for dinner and it was really for our first holiday in Brasov. The were nice, and the cozy and welcoming. The highlight was the food which we really liked. We will come back. We had dinner here a few days ago. As it was quite early, we managed to get a table without a reservation. We had what could be considered traditional Romanian food, but with a modern twist and some very creative flavour combinations. All dishes tasted incredible, and the portion sizes were just right. The was also top notch, so I would definitely this to anyone in search of something delicious to enjoy. food and experience! The puts a modern twist on traditional Romanian dishes, and the result is delicious. The was friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. Highly if you want to try Romanian cuisine in a fresh, surprising way! Bistro de l’Arte in Brașov is a cozy spot with food and a charming atmosphere. The chicken liver dish, lamb burger, and daily specials are all worth trying, as well as their sarmale—both vegan and traditional. Friendly and a warm vibe make it a perfect place to relax. My favourite ❤️ The food is amazing, simple yet delicious and everytime I eat at the Bistro it feels like home. Thank you, Oana Coanta and team! Can't wait to return! The culinary offerings are delightful and flavorful. We highly a visit. Live piano music commences after 20:00. Hands down one of the best dishes I have ever eaten!! I had the Beef Tenderloin Pappardelle with with roasted red onion, black truffles and cream sauce & aged cheese AND I LOVED IT!! big big recommendation. Nice, welcoming & helpful and they even had some live piano music in the evening. The drinks were also amazing. Good prices, good tastes & good what more do you need? I would come around more often if I dont literally live in another country but if I ever will be back in Brasov, I would eat here again!! Very good food and service! The best in Brasov. The price-quality ratio is also a plus. You should definetly try the dumplings filled with sour cherry and chocolate. It was an explosion of tastes. We had the most time at Bistro de l'Arte! It is quite hard to get a reservation, and there is no other way you can get a table, especially at dinnertime, but it's totally worth it. The food was out of this world. We tried most of the dishes, and they were all spectacular, but the most appreciated were the with the beef, the courgette pancake, and the mushroom stew with the polenta. We also tried all the deserts on the menu, and they are all worth having. But the best one has to be the kaiserschmarrn. Moreover, our waiter Erna was the loveliest person. She recommended us a wine that fit perfectly with all our dishes and was attentive to all our needs despite the busy restaurant. We will definitely come back!
