Edit: amazing library, can sew, can use 3D printer. It is unfortunate that some people go here to eat though there are many signs that they shouldnt eat here. Some unemployed people also treat as home and watch videos all day and do nothing else. They seem to not even shower since they stink even from far away. The should have a time limit so these kinds of people don’t take advantage of resources that is meant for public use, not for some unemployed individuals who don’t even bother to take a shower. Can print here and photocopy at a price. Have wifi and computers you can use. They also have board games and we even played there Modern in a central location. The Turku is huge. The building has an old and a modern part. The selection of books is huge. Many people from Turku also come here to read newspapers. The WLAN is free of charge. There are charging facilities and plenty of seating. There are also toilets and luggage lockers. There is a small café serving drinks and snacks. A mix of old and new in the city of Turku. Functional building with respect to the historical values of the building. A must visit - especially if you have kids who can enjoy the kids section inside. The older guys could enjoy the fine architecture. Great place! Free Wi-Fi, a lot of very interesting books, a lot of space for privacy with a book, music or podcast. There is a coffee shop inside, you can have a snack there. The toilet in the cafe is 2€, but it's better to look for a free one in the itself, it's hidden behind the reception ;) There is a game room for children, reading rooms etc A unique place really. It was like I was back in school again, but modern one A charming with comfortable and pleasant spaces for reading, learning and playing. Work and study desks facing the street and inner courtyard. Reading and play areas for children in low seating, with a charming display of objects from books under transparent tiles and scattered cabinets. Throughout the year there are a variety of community activities related to literature (Moomin, Harry Potter and more...) A wonderful, pleasant and relaxed place that both we and the children love very much. Lovely library! Every time I’ve visited, there’s been a spot available. They offer free WiFi and quiet spaces. It’s located in a beautiful part of Turku, next to the river, close to nice restaurants and the cathedral. I highly recommend visiting if you’re in the city. The new show modernity, and the old shows the spirit of classicality. Each table and chair was decorated in a stylish Nordic style and on the second floor, the displayed dress hung in the sky between the beautiful stairs. I'm sorry I couldn't take a few pictures because it's a library. I had a hard time taking this picture, too.
