Great park with little fairy homes all around, real gem for kids and families. There is plenty of free car parking. Park in either the children's playground or at the rear of the hotel to get to the river. Nice along the river Very small but lovely walking and going to the bridge. Very peaceful place Beautiful riverside walk, but the fairy woods area itself is getting a little neglected looking. With a little bit of TLC, it could be fabulous again. It is a great place to relax and enjoy the nature Quite a mediocre walking spot :/ Nice place to relax. Kids playground and plenty of benches to sit on as well. Nestled in a beautiful and serene setting, the place truly lives up to its enchanting name, making it feel like we had stepped into a real-life fairyland. I went with a close friend, and together we explored this hidden gem that is perfectly tucked away, offering a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The highlight of the experience was undoubtedly the through the woods. From the moment we set off on the trail, we were greeted with a stunning array of colors and landscapes that felt almost otherworldly. The sunlight filtered through the dense canopy of trees, casting dappled shadows on the forest floor and giving the whole place a dreamlike quality. The peacefulness of the surroundings was matched by the sound of birds singing and the gentle rustling of leaves, creating a calming soundtrack for our walk. The trail itself was well-maintained and easy to navigate, with plenty of little surprises along the way. We stumbled upon hidden fairy doors carved into trees, whimsical sculptures, and tiny bridges that crossed babbling brooks. Each turn of the path seemed to reveal something new, sparking our imagination and reminding us of childhood tales of enchanted forests. The combination of natural beauty and fairy-tale charm made every step of the an absolute delight. As we ventured deeper into the woods, the scenic views only got better. At various points, we were treated to breathtaking vistas of the surrounding countryside, with rolling hills and the majestic River Shannon flowing peacefully in the distance. The fresh air, combined with the stunning views, made us feel completely connected to nature. There were moments when we simply stopped to take it all in, standing in awe of the natural beauty that surrounded us. Camping out in Fairy Woods was just as fantastic as the itself. We found the perfect spot to pitch our tent, surrounded by towering trees and lush greenery. The peaceful atmosphere made it easy to relax and unwind, with nothing but the sounds of nature to accompany us. As night fell, the woods took on a magical glow, with the moonlight shining through the trees and casting long, ethereal shadows. Sitting around the campfire, we felt as though we had been transported to a world far removed from our everyday reality. The entire experience was like stepping into a storybook – the fairy-tale ambiance of the woods, the stunning scenic views, and the sheer tranquility made it an unforgettable adventure.
