A proper car park, with proper trails and benches along the way makes this a great day out. If you have a side by side buggy you may struggle to get through the wooden styles, though there aren’t many of them. Great place to go for a hike, bird watch, maybe spot a fox or hare if it’s quiet enough for them to come out and you’re lucky. The information boards are located in good locations to paint a picture in your head of what life may have been like there when it was active.
