Nice nice! Great place to walk. Great trails. Wish the information plaques were posted in front of the information they are wishing you know about. Absolutely INCREDIBLE. I’ve visited a lot of ancient sites around Ireland and the information to learn and ACCESSIBLY is fantastic. A proper car park, with proper trails and benches along the way makes this a great day out. If you have a side by side buggy you may struggle to get through the wooden styles, though there aren’t many of them. Another well looked after historical site and forest well done to all involved highly recommended a visit. easy to get to from motorway. Worth a visit. Lovely hiking area and you can bring a dog. Only thing still standing are the three major walls but my God poleople moved a lot of rock back in the day to make this. It is impressive for what it is. Super, krása,... Great hiking area with good interpretive signage about the hill fort. Parking is available right at the front leading into the area. Definitely worth a visit! Schön für einen entspannten Spaziergang. Info Tafel geben einen guten Einblick. Went at sunset and it was very calm. Great place to go for a hike, bird watch, maybe spot a fox or hare if it’s quiet enough for them to come out and you’re lucky. The information boards are located in good locations to paint a picture in your head of what life may have been like there when it was active. You can tell lots of effort went into making this place welcome for wildlife, the nature enjoyer and the history buff. Love this place! Gorgeous walks filled with history! Beautifully maintained and rustic all at the same time. Highly recommend! Great place for a walk. Good parking. Info boards are detailed and intact giving history of the area. Woods are beautiful. Even a hidden castle to spy Off the beaten track little gem Great for adventure walks, running, dog walking etc. Loads of interesting paths in the woods. Recommended for a with education about history. The car park can be accessed easily. Wet and windy today but very interesting abouts Well worth a visit. If you see a black dog, follow it. Beautiful place for walks.
