We took a to see the swans and ducks along one of the paths. Thankfully it stayed dry until we got back into the car. Loved it here really clean ,public toilets available, beautiful coffee van. Loads of different s to do can't wait to visit again Very nice place, you can cycle or the forest trails, plenty of parking, bring a BBQ if you like, small fee at the entrance, perfect for young adults or kids What a lovely forest with lots of different routes, ideal for long lovers. It is the perfect place to be with the kiddies as there is a built-in playground to play, followed by several fire pits for some delicious bbq. There's also public restrooms inside the park, however the only downfall is there are no litter bins near every seat throughout the itself, often spot quite a few areas being littered and I believe it's due to the lack of litter bins. Overall, it is a beautiful place to visit, lovely pond with swans and ducks to admire, and the beautiful historical building which adds an interesting, ancient touch to the whole experience throughout. I'm a regular visitor now for 8 years, and I'm loving it every time! Very good place, neatly maintained. You can cycle/walk/run along the forest trails, plenty of parking space.
