Very nice trail we took from town to the dam. Nice scenery, well maintained in October. Plenty of beauty spots to sit and enjoy the nature Geat for all the family to walk. Small play park for children with a carpark and benches to sit a watch the boats go by. Beautiful area. Kids got to play in the playground, which was spotless while we went to have a look at the bridge, and then went up to the lovely memorial garden and abit beyond. Plenty of benches. Very clean, no dog poo thank god. And then into the lovely outdoor seating area of the local cafe. Fantastic coffee. Lovely stop off. Love this beautiful bridge. Very pretty, peaceful village, friendly . Well worth a visit #OBriensbridge #100daysofwalking #friday #morning #rivershannon #clare #rowing #kayaking #errinacanal #clonlara #Nature #walk love this place, some trails for walk, recommended Amazing walk, playground was safe and roomy. The was relaxing and would highly recommend it. Fairy garden was quant and met the resident mouse. Maybe it wasn't a mouse a fairy perhaps? Nice riverside walk. Lovely little village on the eastern side of Co.Clare. Afew trails here to choose from. Decided on the 5k given the dark clouds above. Beautiful scenic route along the river Shannon that takes you down to the Parteen Weir Hydron dam that loops around. Easy parking next to the playground. Lovely for the kids and dog. Some open spots leading into the river so attentiveness is highly recommended. Would also suggest wearing old shoes or wellies as the ground is soft in places. Lovely walkways for runners & people who just want a leisurely stroll. Coffee shop with delicious treats, a pub & a butchers in the village . Seats to sit on & enjoy the tranquil scenery. The village itself is picturesque. Great here by the river. Lovely views. Fresh air. Interesting terrain and environment. Good way to exercise. Scenic views We did the 11k loop that took us through the lovely quaint village of Clonlara which has a couple of nice watering holes. This is an easy to follow & well signed that is mostly by the waters edge. Took us 2.5 hours. Free parking at the start with a nice little cafe by the bridge. Paws & thumbs up from us! ♥️🚶‍♀️ Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
