Found this place coming back from Galway poked it out at the side of the road what a gem of a place the decor is dated but lovely the toilets were new and immaculately now the food my wife got turkey and with spuds and veg she devoured it and she’s not a big eater I got a starter which consisted of crab meat salmon and prawn nearly eat the plate and all my daughter got the spring rolls divine I got the and chips nicest I had in ages daughter got steak sandwich that she couldn’t finish only Cayuse she got full gave the rest to me lovely top off with a Guinness and a glass of wine for the daughter 80 bucks highly recommended worth poking out when in limerick brilliant oh has a kiddies menu as well and half portions covers everyone enjoy B proud of such a lovely and excellent food.I would recommend this bar restaurant to anyone passing that way.Easy parking. Had an awful pasta here. No flavour at all Nice bar/resturant on N69 Shannon Estuary way. Carpark to side to place to stop on way to Limerick. Kids menu available. We stopped off Wednesday evening and were seated in tented area. It was busy with both passing trade & locals. Friendly service, bar & toilets clean. We ordered different main dishes. I enjoyed the trio of dish served with fries, (also had mash under haddock) It was tasty. Parents had lamb shank and chicken noodle stir fry which both enjoyed. We had desserts which were all home made. I enjoyed the beautiful baked apple pie and parents had fresh fruit pavlova, which imo was a massive serving They truly enjoyed it. If passing through I would stop here again and definitely would recommend. Took my dad here for his 85th birthday tea with my brother, they both had the roast beef and it was delicious.... Dad also had a big slice of apple pie for desert. Food and quick. I regularly stay in nearby Patrickswell for work purposes, and this restaurant provides a superb option on a regular basis for me to eat dinner. The food quality is VERY high and the standards are outstanding. One of the best dining options in the Greater Limerick area. Excellent place, the makes the difference, the is very attentive at all times, delicious food and economical cost and food. Lovely atmosphere. Strongly recommended. Lovely meal with a view & service! Lovely meal with a view & service! food, we had César salad and a sandwich. Lovely. Very staff, atmosphere. Totally recommended A pleasure to be there, Five stars is not enough to rate this Excellent Bar/ Restaurant We stopped for lunch, Excellent service, superb food, the lunch was served piping hot, the fresh fruit pavlova was delicious, atmosphere and we will be eating here more often, I was on the road and stopped by on a wet Saturday afternoon. A very location, and the interior was properly and well-kept. The men’s rom was on the small side, but clean. I was traveling alone and had to be a little assertive to be seated in the main dining area, which felt odd. A river view is mentioned on the website, but weather did not cooperate. I ordered the breaded chicken, which arrived quickly, and was hot and filling. Presentation was a little peculiar, with the gravy boat *in* the food. I ordered a coke with dinner and was a bit put out - the glass was nowhere near full. The dessert cheesecake was nicely presented. One woman (I assumed she was the manager) approached and asked how everything was. She seemed both and professional. One of the was standing at the bar absorbed in the cell phone. Honest-to-God, the damned things are an affliction as well as a blessing. When I went to settle my bill, two members of were having a casual conversation in front of the till, and although one was looking … right … at … me, the other finished his conversation before turning leisurely to me to (politely) ask how he might help. There was just the three of us standing there. It was a small thing, really, but left me feeling a bit shabby. Overall a mixed experience, and I suspect it’s typically nicer and that I just arrived at an awkward time. I wouldn’t be afraid to give it a go, again, at another time. We called in to Quinn’s De Bucket on a Thursday evening and it was absolutely hopping, but the managed to squeeze us in with no bother at all. From the moment we walked in, everyone was so welcoming and friendly. The food was absolutely fab – really tasty, generous portions, and arrived quickly despite how busy it was. You could tell everything was fresh and made with care. The was spot on too – super attentive without being overbearing. Lovely spot with a atmosphere – we’ll definitely be back! selection of quality food and drinks. Excellent by staff. Quinn’s De Bucket, just outside Kildimo, is a solid spot with plenty to offer. The ample parking is a big plus—easily fits a LWB Ford Transit, no hassle. The and chips are top-notch, crispy batter and fresh done right. The smoking area is a gem, boasting a fine view of the River Maigue, perfect for a quiet moment. Though, on my visit, a woman was deep in a séance with a wasp, locked in some mysterious dance of fate. A grand pub with character, grub, and plenty of space to park up and unwind. Excellent food and welcoming staff. Had beef and options and both were gorgeous full of flavour and very tasty. Highly recommend a visit. Will definitely come again. Loads of parking a bonus and plentiful bathrooms. Cannot find any fault with this bar and restaurant. We always stop here either on our way to limerick or when we are heading home to Kerry. Always plenty of table choice and parking. The food is always top and always a choice. Would highly recommend. Fantastic food and and a atmosphere, and I pick up my Christmas hamper, thanks to De-Bucket for holding it over. See you soon. We enjoyed a Sunday lunch at Quinns De Bucket. Roast Beef, Turkey and Ham and Roast Lamb dinners. Portion size was great, plenty of veg, meat and gravey. When we saw the trifle dessert.... we had to try it.... it was absolutely delicious 😋 We will be back ! Stopped by for a quick bite, didn't disappoint. I had the roast beef, very much like a Sunday roast, it was tender and the veggies were perfect. If you are driving by, make sure to stop by. Bookings recommended! Food is amazing. Have eaten here many times, would love to see some new items on the menu If there was zero stars I would give it. We went in and the were all extremely rude except the man with the glasses. The male waiter left when we asked a question, the two young female waitresses slammed our food onto the table. When we asked about the a la crate menu the young server was very rude and short with us. The young black haired waitress at the bar was the height of ignorance we asked where do we pay and she didn’t even turn her head to look at us. On top of all this the food was diabolical, beef was like a leather shoe and the mash was actually hard. Everything was tasteless, chips were straight from frozen. Do not even think of coming here save yer money and time. I had food there last week ! Wow ! It is so consistently every time . Well done to all , a pleasure to dine with you . luck for 2026 . I got the and chips and they were devine, best I’ve had in years. The waitress was very nice and helpful, she gave me recommendations on the menu and seemed genuinely enthusiastic about her job, just a bubbly person in general. I didn’t catch her name but she was blonde with a tattoo on her arm. I hope management sees this and recognises her work. I would definitely recommend this place.
