Fantastic Family Fun at Muzejs (Mazbānīša stacija un bijusī Mazirbes stacija)! We had an incredible time riding the Mazbānītis at Ventspils Piejūras Brīvdabas Muzejs! This charming narrow-gauge railway is a gem for families, offering a delightful journey that our absolutely loved, even with a bit of rain and wind adding to the adventure. The train’s route through the park, with its historic replica of the Mazirbes station, is both scenic and exciting for little ones. Our enjoyed park playtime before the ride, and the was the perfect way to cap off the day. We chose the shorter 1.4 km Circle Line, which was just €8 for our family of four—such a great deal! The longer 3 km Hill Line at €12 is a fantastic option for a bit more exploration. The ride felt safe and smooth, and the were thrilled by the open-air experience, rain or shine. This attraction is a must for families visiting Ventspils. It’s affordable, fun, and a unique way to soak in the charm of the museum’s historic setting. We’re already excited for our next visit! We visited the museum just to ride the and overall were a bit disappointed, the price was 12 euro for a family(1-2 adults and 1-4 kids) there and 12 euro back. You can buy tickets at both ends of the line, the exhibits and history they have are pretty interesting (albeit read through Google translate). Definitely one of my favourite things to see in Ventspils. Excellent. If you want to get the most for your money, choose Kalna line starting from museum. It will cover most of the Riņķa line as well.
