I will list the main areas: physics, astronomy, biology, geography, virtual simulations. We bought a family subscription for 4 hours. You can pay part of it with Ventspils money. They give you a bracelet and the time is recorded at the entrance. You can go outside the center and then come back with the bracelet. You can eat and drink coffee in the center's cafe. If it is warm, sit on the veranda. Despite the wind, we went up to the roof. We spent 3 hours and had a lot of fun😊. Fantastic place to go to see and do so many awesome things. There's a lot of teens and adults, and a great place for younger ones. Everything is super clean and well looked after. Staff is extremely kind and helpful. Cafe is great with amazing choices of food. There's science shows as well that will appeal to everyone. 5 put of 5 for sure x I want to start with - great customer service at the very beginning. We arrived early, 20 mins before opening and were 3rd in a queue. Girl at the ticket office explained everything superb and other staff at the centre were kind and helpful. Then-good and clean baby changing/feeding station/room. We didn’t like the café hence the 4* rating. It felt overpriced for the canteen type of place and staff unprofessional. Horrible coffee. Science show and workshop - great. Children didn’t want to leave. Overall excellent first experience at this centre. Just have to remember to bring our own snacks. :) Perfect place for rainy days. The museum got something for all ages and interests. Learn about physics, chemistry and medicine. The restaurant got decent food that is not too expensive. Potato pancakes are highly recommended. The viewpoint on the roof gives a nice overview the city and harbor. This place was amazing, full of experiments and virtual reality. If you have bad weather in Ventspils this is a good place to spend 2-3 hours. Worst museum I’ve ever visited in my life. Especially the café, what a disappointment no joke. I ordered just fries and a carrot salad. Just a carrot salad. With carrots. Instead, they threw in some random leaves, tomatoes and other stuff I didn’t ask for. I also ordered a bubble tea, and mind you, I love bubble tea. I’ve tried almost every kind out there in latvia. Whatever they gave me was NOT my dear bubble tea. I got the Blue Lagoon one, and it literally tasted like Sprite with bubbles. Bubble tea is supposed to have tea or coffee in it, not a freaking Sprite. They also said, "We’ll bring your order to your table" they didn't. 5.5 euro wasted on that so called bubble tea. Lower the price if you’re going to serve something like that. And on top of all that, a lot of things in the museum weren’t even working properly. Huge disappointment. We have been waiting for 1 hour and due to the number of guests being limited they can’t sell more tickets. The customer service is appalling and we have tried two days to get into the exhibition. They should organise it better.
