The meals are traditional, mostly meat-based, and there are lots to choose from. Pay attention that the menu consists of components, e. g. meat and potatoes are brought out separately. Everything is tasty, cheap and instantly available without any waiting time. The price for a soup is 1.50 €, a bowl of meat dumplings is 1.85 € and a goulash with boiled potatoes (no salad) 3.65 €. Smaller (and cheaper) portions are available. The menu is only in Latvian, we (as foreigners) translated it with Google Lens. The diner is open everyday from 9 to 21. There may be long queues at lunch time. The place is popular among locals. You can eat here (tables inside and on a small terrace) or have your meal to go in a box. The interior is nothing special. Fresh and tasty. I came here for a holiday and wanted to enjoy some nice food. But the staff were very unfriendly. They didn’t smile at all. It felt like they didn’t want us there. The pancakes were okay, but they were cold. The pelmeni were very bad. They were so hard we couldn’t eat them. No taste at all. Like chewing stones. I don’t recommend this place.
