Fantastic place for trainings Nice area, tasty food, closeby to river Navesti, fishing possibilities as we planned to hike through Vanaõue, I called them the previous day to ask about dinner and accommodation - everything was said to be possible - "come here and we'll figure it out". when we arrived the next day, super tired after 20km on foot, a weird birthday party was apparently in full swing, and the frown on the landlady's face seeing us was so unwelcoming, the only thing we dared to ask for was if we could buy some drinks and bottled water, as there is no shop in 10km radius and we had placed our bets on staying/refilling in Vanaõue. she said they "are very busy" and that we should start going now. we had to replan our itinerary, because overnight camping without water wasn't thinkable. as unpleasant, self-interested and inhospitable as it gets pretty much, Vanaõue let us down for good. shame on a countryside tourism business that treats through-hikers like trash :/ Stayed here for over a week and really loved it! I really enjoyed the river more than anything else, to be honest. Apart from this, although I was here during winter, I can see that during summer it is a popular area. But, as my roommate and I called it, the beds are like a 'trampoline' where you move one and feels like you just going to fall off. Nice countryside place for seminars and events. Plenty of room.
