Little museum about the history of local woolen plaid production and a view of very nice kids' art projects. Interesting An old textile mill (factory) that was powered by a waterwheel that has been converted to a place for artists and their workshops. The workshops and the artisan products can be purchased. Arts galleries showcase artists and it is possible to have something to eat. The place also offers venue for wet and other social events besides you may simply come here for a stroll and a picnic 🌸 This is a very cozy and rustic place with a rich industrial history 🎉 A beautiful place with lots of culture and good exsebisions The museum works till 4 pm. The kafe works till 7 pm and the food was delicious. We will be back :) We happened by Fossekleiva Kultursenter on a Sunday on a weekend road trip. While the cafe and main building were closed, there were a few artists sitting out enjoying the sun on the patio and they welcomed us in to their studios. The live/work building and facilities is beautiful and it was cool to see into the gallery/studio spaces. Each artist was unique and passionate about what they were working on and eager to talk about it. If you’re in the market for some original art for your walls, or a unique gift idea (prints, cards, jewelry, clothes) I highly recommend this place for a friendly, welcoming atmosphere and some strong art.
