The Carlo Riva harbour, just renewed after great Oct18 damages guests and welcomes many boats and ships. Rapallo is a beautiful village close to Portofino, which is a tourist trap. Rather stay in Rapallo, great hotels, fantastic food, reasonable priced. Good facilities, clean and tidy. No parking, extremely busy. Ideal to leave to go to Portofino Riviera but the Riviera is strongly controlled. you cannot stop anywhere. There are places where you can tie to a boyance but it costs 10 euro and you also need to pre book! If there is no place you are left going back and fro. Definitely not worth visiting.
