This is a lovely pine on the outskirts of the suburb Bergen. There is free parking. The walking paths and horse paths are separated which is great. The paths are mostly flat in the area but there is also a section of dunes with beautiful sandy areas at the back of the forest. It's easy to get too by either taking the stairs or a flat path. Mom's would be able to walk with prams in the if the weather had been a bit drier. Makes for a nice morning walk with kids. Great place to walk, really nice vibes. Must-see for tourists, amazing for a family trip. Dogs can walk freely, and you are allowed to traverse through the on horseback. It's also the home of a beautiful estate "het Oude Hof". If you want to go to the movies, the has got your back, because it houses a beautiful arthouse cinema. Children can play at the various open sites and there's even a football field at your disposal.
