Lovely nature hideaway, close to the river and the adorable town of Hitzacker. Thoughtful and contemporary design all over the place; delicious food and kind service. Worth every relaxing minute! Great idea for budget accommodation. We spent 1 night at this place, it was very comfortable and nice. The only problem was not having anybody for late night check in so we had to sneak to our beds. Good breakfast, good location, great environmental concept. Solar electricity, recycling etc. As a safari game driving guide who spent a lot of time in Pendjari Parc Benin and Lower zambezi Parc in Zambia (Africa ) Destinatire Dorf in Hitzacker in Germany reminds me of living in the wild nature. I really enjoyed the concept ❤️✅ A really great find. Stopped by on my Elbe river cycle tour. The Bett to go was just what I needed, though there are bigger cabins for more of a glamping thing! The staff were so kind and helpful, food was great and convenient (and really vegan friendly! Thank you!), all amenities taken care of as well. Also nice places to relax around the grounds, even a fire pit. Highly recommend. Great little Cafe/bistro in town, good staff. Good food. Can't speak for the hotel end, but excellent service all around.
