Recently l visited this site and l found the very interesting! On site you will find a large mound with a dug out middle section , wooden crosses made from old railway sleepers and a beautiful rose garden. I would recommend visiting here. The is free to get in. Szép, de egy kicsit el van hanyagolva. If u love historical places, this is one of the most impacting places for the whole central europe. Here the old hungarian kingdom was decisively defeated by Mongol hordes, which triggered german colonisation, development of mining and building of stone castles. Country has never been the same afterwards and thats why these relicts are still present in countries liberated in 1918 after (another, it seem hungarians are very good at losing wars:) ) the their defeat in WW1 - slovakia, romania, croatia, and even hungary. Beautiful with all the roses along the pathway. Clean and a pleasure to visit. Interesting place next to motorway that you can see for free. Nothing really special besides crosses. Great little monument to one of the greatest points of European history. Unfortunately the dangerous in its present neglected conditions. Shame it is because that reminds one of the important moment of the Hungarian history. Great looking Szépen kialakított, de már elhanyagolt hely. Így is megérintő hely. This is a of the main battle in 1241 between the Mongol Empire and the Kingdom of Hungary during the Mongol invasion of Europe. It took place at Muhi. The battle resulted in a victory for the Mongols, who destroyed the Hungarian Royal army. The is worth a visit if you are around. It is probably a 2 minute drive from the highway exit. There is a free parking lot next to the entrance. You can spend around 10 minutes walking around and climbing the memorial. Érdekes, hiszen tovább gondolásra késztet. After reading the series "The Mongoliad" of Greg Bear and Neal Stephenson, I became interested in visiting the battle fields were the fiercest battles in defence of christian Europe were fought by warriors monks against the mongol hordes. Whilst in Budapest, I could easily reach Muhi. So I have chosen that impressive near the Sajó river to pray and to bow to the courage and the sacrifice of those middle age heroes even though in that battle they were tragically defeated. Ettől függetlenül az emlékmű maga nagyon ötletes, egyszer megéri megnézni. the monument is very particular. I think the reason for the temporary discomfort is being restructured A si biri. Elhanyagolt, balesetveszély miatt lezárva. Belépés saját felelősségre. Van kint egy tábla, de szívesen olvastunk volna többet a csatáról, előtte/utána történtekről.
