I took the guided tour and saw all the nice frescos inside of the palace. The tour is in Hungarian but the opening film has English subtitles and I was given a laminated sheet of paper with English information on each room visited inside of the palace. 1 star because during the visit there is a movie who explain in details the history of the but without any subtitles in english. This movie is quite long and there is no summary of it in english. It s really a pity because the is interesting but we missed a big part of the story due to that. It s not too difficult to add subtitles on a movie... Don’t even think about visiting this beautiful palace. As of April 20th, 2023, the closed its doors. It's in private hands now. The new owner fired all the employees. No one knows what the plan is for this newly renovated treasure. They didn't even bother to let the public know about the current situation on their website! Save your time, and find something else to do. We just visited the and it was amazing! The entry price is quite fair. The tourguide is very interesting and fun. Got to learn a lot of new things. We were a few mins late from the guide but he picked us up seperately and helped us to be up to date. Was supernice! The inside is fascinating with the rococco wall paints. There are some short videos and radio shows which were quite high quality - worldwide - in my opinion. I can definitely recommend. You can also take a walk in the park and drink a coffee for less than 2 Euros in the castle’s cafè. It was supernice. You can only visit with a tour guide so it's advised to call the place before going. The tour is about 1,5 hour but really educating. You can see beautiful paintings.
