Food is brought to your table. Finish your food and stow away your dishes in the cabinet. Great place to eat and the staff is super nice. You might see a friendly cat next to the fireplace. Good food and nice atmosphere Its was closed to September so i cant rank the food and drink Only place to eat in the area. Super nice service. Nice outdoor seating, good food, good beer. Would have loved to see the mill itself. Perfect place to go after a long hike or bike ride. Family owned. Service is very good. Every think is Home made. One of my favorite stops during my visit to Germany!!! I found myself here while looking for directions and stayed for refreshments ... the cappuccino and tiramisu were some of the best I've had anywhere!! The atmosphere was idyllic in one of the most peaceful towns I've ever had the pleasure of visiting (despite accidentally finding myself stranded in town for many hours ... and if there was ever a place to be stranded, I'm glad it was this town). Everyone working at Hammermühle was kind, polite and some of the most genuinely nice people I've met, even despite the language barrier (my German is basic and from 20 years ago in school) I felt welcome. Lovely Cafe with great cakes and coffee.
