I don'tknow why, but I was really amazed with this place. Attracted with some special atmosphere... secrets of the walls... sun... silence... listen ... Parking place and fortess is free of charge. There are spectacular views all the day. A small castle down the hill before you cross the bridge, it has parking and a porto loo onsite, but going around the inside of the ruins is ruined by people using the grounds as a public convenience and smells with beer bottles. But if you see past the above the views of the sea & lands. I kind of expected more from the fortress itself - it's just ruins of one, fairly small building, so not much to walk around. But the view it gives you for neighbourhood and Paski Most is absolutely breathtaking! I don't think it's enough to make this a destination of separate trip, but if you're coming to or leaving Pag via Paski Most, then I recommend to visit this place for a few minutes to take in the view! If you are a cat lover, then added value will be parking just next to the fortress - cat family lives there. They are calm and friendly - just be careful while parking or leaving - cats like to hide from the sun under the cars. Amazing view on Paski bridge, Zadar North region and sourandings. Fortica is stuning place. Really nice, it's not far away from our airbnb, so we went there twice already. It's especially beautiful at the sunset. Would 100% recommend it for the view. Stunning views and a nice little break on your way up the coast. We visited in mid-June just before the busy season. There was plenty of parking and not many visitors. Super sharp stones, difficult to walk over them. Nice view on the Pag bridge and the sea, from the left side especially. Free entrance.
