So my fussy son who is very particular about what he eats cant get enough of this place. The food is really tasty and reasonable for the price. Love the farm to fork ethos. We have visited twice and will visit again while we are on holiday. We have sampled main menu and Sunday roast and quality is the same each time. The pub and restaurant have clearly had a great refurbishment and it all has lovely touches and makes it feel cosy. Owners and staff are attentive and friendly. It actually upsets my son that it doesn't seam as busy as it should be as it really is great produce. Found this accidentally driving around the island and stopped for lunch. Fresh local produce and locally sourced meats. Had to wait for the fish to be delivered. Lamb Burgers were delicious, others said the crab and fish ciabatta rolls were excellent The new owners have done a fantastic job of the refurbishment, really light and airy. The food is superb and cooked freshly, they have a province board to show you exactly where your food comes from which is locally sourced so supporting local businesses. Would highly recommend. Also dog friendly. Fantastic farm to fork pub restaurant. Definitely one of the best pub roasts I have had. Good portion sizes - plenty of meat and veg, just enough food to feel properly full but not uncomfortable. Food came quickly and staff were and attentive. 10/10 Went here on a whim as saw the new reviews. Was stunned to see how the new owners have changed things for the better. Everything fresh and local, never heard of farm to fork before but you can tell from the quality of the meat. Really cosy date night vibes in the evening. This place offers such a better experience than some of the other pubs in the area. The new owners have done a great job refurbishing this place, it has a posh feel to it, nice & light inside. The food was very yummy and freshly cooked, there were 4 of us & we all really enjoyed our dinners here. The staff were all very & attentive. They have a province board up to show you exactly where your food comes from.. which is locally sourced, so supporting local businesses… which is great. It is also dog friendly, which is very handy.
