Maybe more staff around in the main building as parents were letting their kids run around, tapping on enclosures and so on, when there are a number of signs asking that this doesn't happen due to the nervousness of the creatures there. I had looked this place, along with many others to whilst on Orkney and I'll be honest I wasn't expecting much, however I was very pleasantly surprised when we did fine it, to say the least. It didn't look very big from the outside but when you enter its and actually much bigger than I expected, there are lots of different to watch and look at. The staff were very friendly and happy to have a chat and let you watch them feed the animal. All have a back story which you can read and learn about them. All of the are so well cared for, clean and healthy. When we finished looking at the we decided to have lunch in the cafe which was a small menu but plenty of choice we also took some cake away with us for later which looked and tasted amazing. This place is definitely worth a for all ages Although small compared to other places on the mainland, the here are really gorgeous! It wasn't iverly busy when we went and for 2 kids and 2 adults it was £25. You could go round and round as many times as you liked, and in the centre, they had a place for talks and animal holding. There is also additional space outside with a small play park, a maze, and access to the beach. The eatery has a small menu with fresh soup and sandwiches. It's about £5.70 for a sandwich and £3 for a hot drink. The car park is unmarked except one disabled car parking space. Over all, a great few hours with kids who loved animals. Loads of to see, most of them with a bad start in life but now being well cared for.
