Sauna, bagno turco, idromassaggio, piscina, cinema e molte attività. Ottimo centro sportivo. I went here for a gig great venue. Only downside was the card machine was not working so could only get a drink with cash. Sound was awesome both seating and standing available. Had a hotfoot van outside. No queue for the bathroom. Friendly throughout. Good place for coffee Best cheese scone I've ever had 😁 Not sure what this place is like for its activities but I know it does have a large pull and climbing wall, along with a bouldering cave which you cannot gain entrance to until you've had an 'induction' . I came to the centre to speak at an event. If you're thinking of hiring for a corporate event I was recommend that you do not hire the Grainery room when the cinema is on next door. The studio however, seemed to work really well, until the air conditioning came on and delegates could not hear at the back. It's still a good central venue and the done all they can to make the event a huge success. are friendly, and great facilities. The gym space is second to none and it's good to have a booking system so it doesn't get too busy. With regards to covid restrictions: perhaps to much reliance on these for the swimming pool. Not really sure why the kids have to walk past all the fun stuff (kids off limits) to get to a tiny square in the main where they are fenced in. Also not sure why you can only get into the changing room 10 mins AFTER the session starts (even the first one of the day) and need to get out 15 minutes before it ends. Don't go if you are planning to swim for the hour! All being said, it's super clean and as mentioned are friendly and helpful. Great venue for a gig. Fast entrance, hot food van outside. No queueing for the bathrooms. Went to see Skerryvore there. Would of been 5 stars, however card payments were on available on the night so was a cash only bar annoyingly. Hidden gem. Very good value for money. Great gym, has its busy periods though! Good soft play. Swimming pleasant though a bit chilly sometimes. The is amazing! Our local one in Burntisland should take some notes :) Looks like a lovely facility, unfortunately completely unable to use it. Tried to go climbing as a visitor, however inductions only take place in a half hour window once per week. Really bizarre policy but what can you do. Fantastic facilities. Brilliant cinema. Warm pool. Good squash courts. Badminton. Rock climbing.etc.... etc. Brilliant. Good disabled access for wheelchairs. Lovely place to go with young children . polite and friendly The Pickaquoy Centre was amazing! We visited the the climbing wall in the hall and had a fantastic time, we met some there and they were awsome and we will be keeping in touch! Really great place, worth a visit! Their cafe is brilliant. The are wonderful. Most of the time it is a spacious and quiet place to enjoy a coffee. Saturdays are usually busy though. The food there is great. The salads in a tortilla basket are certainly worth a try but in my mind the full breakfast is the best in Orkney, and it's a fantastic deal. The exercise facilities, climbing wall, pool, racket Sports, and various exercise classes are all top notch and it is a great place to get fit or hang out at the health suite. I'm probably biased because I spend loads of time here but it's a fantastic place. Excellent in all respects. Clean, friendly staff, and so well organised, especially in handling the many hundreds of visitors during the Orkney International Island Games. Sold me a multi gym membership to use across the various islands in Orkney but failed to share with me that there main gym in Kirkwall Pickaquoy (the one i was at when signing up) closes often for various reasons. On top of this, when wanting to use the gyms on the small Islands in Orkney which i visit often during the days you must come to the gym as a pair despite signing up on my own. These issues have meant i have been unable to train consistently like I usually do at my local gym in south of England. I tried to speak to the leisure team on the phone 5-6 times with each time no one picking up the phone in their department. So i have decided to leave my complaint in the form of a review. I am so disappointed with the level of access, not something i have experienced before when a member at a gym. Whether to see wicked for the 10.30am showing. The front of house was so pleasant and helpful.
