We visited this cafe for lunch, attracted by its inviting atmosphere, but our experience quickly soured. Within just 7-8 minutes of seating ourselves, we were abruptly informed that all tables were reserved and were asked to leave. This was not only frustrating but also confusing, as there were no visible "reserved" signs on any tables. It felt particularly discriminatory, raising concerns that perhaps this policy was selectively enforced against foreign customers. After a few minutes of expressing our dissatisfaction, as we were about to leave did another customer intervene, pointing out available space. By then, the damage was done. The staff's belated offer for us to stay no longer held any appeal. Our lunch was completely ruined by this unwelcoming and poorly managed situation. Coffee is good, but it takes so much time… Now it is my favorite spot in Ilmenau. It is where you could taste a good delicious coffee. I don't know anywhere like here in Ilmenau. I am surprised totally by this :) Totally recommended. My visit to the cafe was disappointing; the staff's behavior was rude, and the service was slow. The overall experience left a negative impression, and I won't be returning.
