Didnt go into the castle, but walked around the perimeter and onto the beach. Nice walk with a few restaurants and pubs nearby! Bamburgh is an absolute gem! The stretches for miles, offering plenty of space to explore, and the of Bamburgh perched atop the rocky hill are simply breath-taking. It's the perfect setting for a peaceful stroll, a picnic, or even just to sit back and enjoy the serene surroundings. The is also remarkably clean. What’s also wonderful about Bamburgh is how accessible it is. It’s easy to reach from the village, and the of the in the background create a magical atmosphere. Whether you’re interested in photography, birdwatching, or simply taking in the stunning scenery, Bamburgh has something for everyone. Parking is also not too far from the beach/castle either. I couldn’t recommend Bamburgh more highly. It’s a peaceful, beautiful spot that offers the perfect combination of relaxation and breathtaking views. A very large area of sand and dunes which was very and well used by surfers and walkers that is made all the more impressive in that it is overlooked by Bamburgh and has of the Farne Islands and Holy Island.
