Excellent place. Loads of staff so you don't have to wait forever and plenty of free parking. Large and airy place with seating and tables that are spaced apart so you don't feel cramped. Very relaxing atmosphere and the selection and range of foods were excellent. The staff in the back are doing a good job here coming up good quality cafe style food. Would definitely return. Food was excellent. Really different choices. But still could have bacon butties if you wanted. Chips cooked to perfection. Everything was clean and bright. Staff really great. Didn't take photos as was so ready to eat when food came just wolfed it down. R Very pleasant stop off the A1. Good coffee, healthy protein options, interesting salads and freshly made cakes. Much better than most roadside rest stops. Cooked breakfast was very well done. I was a but confused at pricing as mark up between small and largw breakfast seemed a bit much for the additonal items. I still went for it as im greedy! I think an extra sausage on the upgrade woukd have been reasonable. Nice place though and all food and coffee had was quality and done with care. Friends loved their veggie options too. Staff were polite and no issues with service. Had two lovely meals here on a recent trip. Both very good quality ingredients and very tasty. Good value for money too. Ambience a little lacking, it's very echoey and a bit cold feeling inside and rhe hard paved garden could do with some tubs and/or hanging baskets. Just to make the surroundings a bit nicer. The most important bit though is the food and service were both great. Great little cafe. Fast service. Nice little shop joined in. Fab outdoor area for dogs and kids. Play park and outside ride on trackers. Good array or food and help yourself to water. Cakes and cakes were soooo nice too. Would absolutely return Wonderful cafe just off the A1 serving fabulous freshly prepared food. Imaginative menu of salads, quiches and wraps and excellent home baking. Highly recommended! The food was great! And the people who served us were very kind and friendly. The place is very nice and cozy also.
