Stopped off with some friends for a drink after our walk on a warm evening. Barmaid eventually appeared and served drinks. Went up for a second drink and had to find barmaid again. Pub reminded me a bit of the World's End🙄. I understand this place is up for sale - not really surprised. Well equipped and comfortable. Easy access to walks. Dogs wellcome, Our two Viszlas loved it. Coffee shop excellent and recommended a vusit to the Golf Club. Walk to Spey Bay, where saw Ospreys close up. Great place, very clean and friendly, would definitely stay again We were in apt 4, which had a large living area and a decent size bedroom with a bathroom off it. There was a small garden area of it with a table and 2 chairs for sitting out. This was a lovely place to stay! I was there on a business trip and couldn’t have chosen better accommodations. The place was very clean, nothing was run-down, and it was very peaceful. Also, a short drive away are some excellent places to visit for food and other things. We had a great stay at this hotel. The place is old but clean. The owners went out of their way to accommodate us (and extra children). They make the place welcoming and warm. Superb breakfast and very good, reasonably priced diners. Friendly. Limited number of rooms for guests, so make sure you have a reservation. The pub is terrific. Take a seat and meet the locals, just like those who have frequented this pub for a couple hundred years. Be sure to have the full Scottish breakfast in the dining room. You won't forget it! And greet the owners for me. Staying here is a memorable village hotel experience! Really enjoyed our extended stay at Garmouth Coffee Roasters apartment. Perfect - everything you need, sleeping, cooking and relaxing - all well accomodated. Really friendly owners and staff, can't do enough for you. Ideal location for walks and sightseeing. With the smell of freshly roasted coffee to tempt you to the cafe. Specially recommended.
