Very nice food ,not licenced, but can take your own,or buy from next door ,quite small,mainly cater for take away,10min walk from holiday Inn. We'd been looking for a decent Indian takeaway/restaurant in Ipswich for a long time, we accidentally came across this takeaway/restaurant a couple of nights ago and so last night we ordered our first takeaway Indian meal from India Gate, Pinewood Ipswich and I have to say it was an excellent meal, I for one will definitely be ordering from India Gate again. The Chicken Tikka was amazing Highly recommended 👌🏼 My favourite Indian Takeaway. Dishes always delicious with a friendly welcome on pickup and reliable deliveries too. Excellent quality. Great food super friendly cool owner Delicious food, friendly staff fast service Been a long standing customer and always enjoyed the food. But sometimes the delivery times are silly. This evening ordered and was advised 45 mins. It turns up over 1.5 hours later and food is cold. So that will be the last time we use them. It's a shame as the food is good. Always great food & great service - have been coming here for years. Highly recommend! Ordered a meal for 4 last night. Honestly it was absolutely delicious. So much food, easily would have served five or six people. So excellent quality and value for money. Will definitely be ordering from this restaurant again. All the staff were very welcoming and nice. The food is really tasty and freshly to order. It's my go to for Indian food. Done a online order for the first time at Indian gate...Arrived in a good time. Food wasn't very hot on arrival, food was very bland & dry. Very over priced. Wont be going there again. And they forgot my drink i ordered!!! Food is very delicious Location is very nice. I recommend it Great food and service We ordered our food online as we have done on numerous occasions. It arrived on time. As we started to serve up our food we realised it was cold. We called the restaurant to inform them. Only to be called a liar, they asked for the food back & then hung up. Phone call number 2 we had the same response only after I asked if we could have fresh food they replied no so I then asked for a refund to which I was also told no & called a lair again. I then took the food back to the takeaway in the containers it was served in (ok it wasn't all separate & neat but it had been half served up ). But it was cold so they would of discarded it anyway. He then called me a lair again infront of other customers, & once again refused to replace my food or give me a refund..... Needless to say we will not be ordering from there again. Very dissapointed as its been our go to Indian takeaway for some years.
