What a real should be birds singing no litter, no vandalism just peace and quiet. Also a beautiful pub nearby for a wonderful lunch A gem ! Thornton Hough is always a beautiful spot, regardless of the time of year, but particular so in the springtime with the trees in blossom. I wouldn't say the place is packed with tourist attractions, but with the green, the pub and plenty of good footpaths, what more do you really need? Great place to visit when there's an event on. Wide open space in lovely quaint village. No facilities , We went for car show was lovely Beautiful and play park in a picturesque village, comedy amount of litter bins but also no sign of any litter whatsoever. There are toilets here but locked when we visited. Filming for The Wirral Channel. Nice and spacious in the picturesque of Thornton Hough. Kids playground and thatched pavilion nearby. Perfect place for a photo with period timber framed houses as a background. Lovely place Quiet and peaceful place, perfect for a picnic or gentle ponder. The is prone to becoming waterlogged on and around wet days, and the public toilets are grim. Probably as picturesque you could ever wish for. A beautiful place within a beautiful village, local shop just across the road for any refreshments or snacks you may require. Great play park for little kids and football pitches too. It is a large with a small children's play area and it is bounded with pleasant mock Tudor buildings and the building of the now closed smithy. All part of the Lever Estate until the death of the last Lord Leverhulme. We started a walk from Brimstage car park and went on a lovely walk to Thornton Hough and the Green. It takes about 45 minutes and there is lots to see along the way. Recommended Lovely peaceful with plenty of oldy worldy charm Serene, nice place for dog walk Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
