The sweet and sour is a real standout: perfectly crispy batter with tender, juicy inside, all coated in a sauce that strikes the perfect balance between tangy and sweet without being overly heavy. Their special fried rice is packed full of prawns, roast pork, chicken, and vegetables, making it a meal in itself. We also love their beef with black bean sauce, where the beef is always tender, and the sauce is rich and full of authentic flavour. Tiny portion size for chow meins, half size. No egg in egg fried rice. Rude service. Ridiculous price for a small amount of food, smallest Chinese ever. Don't even give you free prawn crackers like every other chinese. Don't know how they are still trading. Worst experience, save your money and go elsewhere. Best chips in Thornbury, hands down - but again, sometimes it’s hard to differentiate between a regular or large sized portion as they can be smaller during busy periods.
